BRUSSELS (AFP) – European governments pulled back on Monday from a subsidy war feared by EU commission officials as US auto maker General Motors prepares severe job cuts in Europe. GM is due to deliver a new business plan by the end of the week, which would involve the loss of some 10,000 European jobs and for which it is seeking up to 3.3 billion euros (almost five billion dollars) in financing
